What does it mean, when your vitamins do not show up on any grocery scanners?

They may be counterfeit. There for may not be what they say they are. When I began "calories counting lifestyle" I also began scanning all my foods, for easier and better balancing. I was surprised to find out some of my supplements, "natural hormonal replacements"... did not have a proper barcode. I will only list here the brands and vitamins I found to be counterfeit due to the lack of proper barcode.

I recommend using mobile barcode scanner for everything you buy, when you shop in-person. Even the vitamins. I buy every vitamin either from Target or Amazon, or directly by order from the manufacture (case with Grüns ®). Still I end up with 4 without database information or proper barcode, even know they all say "Made in America". "Grüns ®" actually show up on Samsung scanner as 70 calories per daily pack.

THESE ARE COUNTERFEIT SAMPLES (no proper barcode):

  1. Hormone balance for women by "Youth & Tonic" - 60 Capsules

  2. "Horbäach" Hair Skin and Nails Vitamins - 300 Softgels, with Biotin and Collagen, Infused with Argan Oil and Coconut Oil

  3. Co Enzyme Q10 by "Swiss BioEnergetics" - 300 mg 60 Capsules - Superior Naturally Fermented Trans Form

  4. DIM Supplement by "1 Body" – 200 mg - Menopause Support, Hormone Balance for Women & Estrogen Blocker for Men, Hot Flash Relief, Acne Treatment, PMS Support & Menopause Weight Loss Supplement
