This hotel is located within 19 minutes walk or 6 minutes drive from Space Needle Plaza. I recommend walking, plaza itself does not offer much free parking. Visit Pacific Science Center ®,  Seattle Children's Museum ® & Museum of Pop Culture ® all on the same walking distance plaza.

Space Need itself is located in the center of a nice Gay Neighborhood. If you like craftsman style West Coast Beer & Cider visit TeKu ® Tavern + Café. They have amazing varieties of both, more beer though. It is 19 minutes walk from the hotel. Great vibe bar for straight couple.

Space Needle ® offers an AMAZING full time Chihuly Garden and Glass ® art collection. I recommend seen it before going all the way up the elevator. Try to visit the topit during late evening, after 8pm or right before closing. I saw it on the night of Solar Eclipse, Jul 12, 2018. This evening experience is absolutely stunning.

Rockefeller Center is about 10 minute drive from hotel or 24 minute walk. Central Park is only 10 minute walk to the Maine Monument Park entry. You can take a walk through the park to get to Metropolitan Art Museum.

Visit American Museum of Natural History, Museum of the City of New York on the other side of the park & Belvedere Castle in the middle. Dine at Loeb Boathouse restaurant in the park & visit Central Park Zoo.

Universal Studio ® is the only worthy amusement park in LA to visit, if you have Teen+ kids. It is about 25 minutes up the mountains drive from the hotel. They definitely offer great adult & children entertainment. Better than Disneyland ® for teen.  However, if you have a little kids  visiting Disneyland ® is probably safer & better option. Otherwise, you can waste money on tickets at Universal with kids that are "not tall enough to ride" ...

Griffith Observatory ® is about the same distance from the hotel. Los Angeles County Museum of Art ® is also about 25 minutes drive.

The hotel area is perfectly SAFE to walk around, without bodyguard or security or car, however, LA landscape & weather, may force into the air conditioned vehicle. Air quality in LA is bad, especially in the earlier morning. I would recommend to use Lyft ®  or Uber ® to commute.
